The first stop for the tour is the Five Great Avenues
(Wudadao Area), which is a place you can find different style buildings more than 200, such as German, Italian, French, Spanish and British architecture as well as can find old tranditional Chinese Villas, this area mixed in the eastern and western culture togther. It shows the morden history of Tianjin City.
After sightseeing, head to visit the Jing Yuan Garden, a Spanish-styled brick structure. Built in 1921, Jingyuan Garden, also named Qianyuan Garden, has a history of 80 years and it is a famous residence combined both Chinese and European architecture style. It is now one of the heritage sites under city protection and the important historic architecture under the special protection in the municipality of Tianjin.
Jingyuan Garden was the private residence of Lu Zongyu, minister-counselor to Japan appointed by the Northern Warlords’ Government. Later Jingyuan Garden got its current name from Puyi, the last emperor of China during the Qing Dynasty on July 1929 when he settled here with his wives.
After lunch, continue to visit the Mansion of Family Shi, which is a large and well-preserved civil residence with unique features of Qing Dynasty in north China. The Shi Family Mansion is located in Yangliuqing Town of Xiqing Distric of Tianjin. Built in 1875, the mansion was originally the residence of the Shi Family, which was one of the eight prominent families of Tianjin in the ancient times. Today the mansion has been listed as an important historic site under state protection.
The last stop for this tour is Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street, to explore the ancient street in Tianjin city, where you can enjoy the special architectural styles, take folk crafts, and taste the delicious local snacks.
Ancient Culture Street is located in Nankai District, Tianjin. It is one of the most popular tourist locations in Tianjin, with thousands of tourists and visitors visiting the Ancient Street year after year.
After the tour, you will be drop off at Tianjin train station for taking train back to Beijing. Once you arrive, our Beijing driver will pick you up again there and take you back to your hotel.
