What an unforgettable day we had in Beijing! Our group of six friends decided to explore two incredible spots: the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace, and we had a blast!

We started our adventure at the Mutianyu Great Wall. Let me just say, the views were absolutely stunning! We opted for the cable car to take us up, and it was worth every penny. As we rose above the mountains, the sight of the wall stretching out before us took our breath away. It felt surreal to be standing on such an iconic landmark, and we couldn’t stop snapping photos. Seriously, every angle is Instagram-worthy!

Once we reached the top, we spent hours wandering along the wall. There was something so special about being there together, laughing and exploring. Each watchtower we visited offered a unique perspective, and we all felt like kids again, just enjoying the adventure. Plus, the weather was perfect, which made the experience even better!

After an exhilarating morning, we headed to the Summer Palace. The beautiful gardens, stunning architecture, and peaceful lakes made for a perfect afternoon stroll. We loved wandering around, taking in the beauty of the scenery. The highlight for us was definitely the Long Corridor, with its colorful paintings—it was like walking through a piece of art!

Throughout the day, our guide John was absolutely fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and friendly, making sure we didn’t miss any important details at each site. He patiently answered all our questions and even shared some fun anecdotes that added to the experience. We felt like we were exploring with a good friend rather than just a guide!

And a special shoutout to Zoe, who helped us plan everything! She was super responsive and answered all our questions leading up to the trip. Her tips made our day so much smoother, and we really appreciated her guidance.

All in all, this day was a perfect blend of adventure, history, and laughter with friends. If you're in Beijing, you have to visit both the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Summer Palace. It’s a day you won’t forget! We left with our hearts full of memories and already started planning our next adventure together!
