4 Days Beijing & Shanghai High-speed Train Tour

D1 Beijing

Pick up service can be arranged at Beijing downtown hotel, train station or airport, you will find a welcome sign "Beijing Private Tour".

The first stop for the tour is Forbidden City, also named the Palace Museum, shares the honor of being one of five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The incomparable palace occupies an area of 720,000 square meters (177.9 acres) and has approximately 8,700 rooms. A high red wall with a total length of 3,400 meters (3,718 yards) encases the palace.

Then, visit the splendid Summer Palace, the former royal garden, it is the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. Feel a little bit tired? Not to worry! We will arrange a foot massage (free of charge) for you, just relax and enjoy it!

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Beijing.

D2 Beijing

After breakfats, you will visit the Badaling Great Wall in Beijing. It takes around 1.5 hours driving from Beijing downtown hotel to Badaling Great Wall - one of the most gorgeous and magnificent part of the Great Wall. Upon arrival, you will take cable car up to the Great Wall, hike the north section to the highest watch tower to have a full view of the Great Wall. Free on your own to do some hiking and take good pictures from different point.

In the afternoon, you will visit the  Temple of Heaven. The temple was constructed in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was enlarged during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It is the grandest cult architecture complex in the world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times. Emperors of the two dynasties used to worship the heaven and pray for rich harvests, as the feudal emperors thought they were the son of the heaven.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Beijing.

D3 Beijing--Shanghai

Our driver will transfer you to Beijing train station to catch your morning train to Shanghai. It takes around 5.5 hours from Beijing to Shanghai. Once you arrive, our Shanghai local guide will meet you at the exit of train station.

You will start your Shanghai tour at Yuyuan Garden, it is an ancient garden built over 400 years ago during the Ming Dynasty. These exquisite gardens in the heart of Shanghai are an iconic example of traditional Chinese garden architecture and a popular destination for visitors to the city.

In the evening, you will have the Huangpu River Cruise. All aboard the Huangpu River cruise and see Shanghai's famous landmarks from a new perspective! This one-hour cruise will take you along the famous river that separates Shanghai’s two sides (Pudong and Puxi) and gives great views of both the old and new architecture of the city. The Huangpu River cruise is one of Shanghai's most popular activities for visitors to Shanghai, so make sure you check it out.

After the cruise, you will be taken back to your hotel in Shanghai.

D4 Shanghai Departure

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit the Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower, Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower stands at 468 meters, it's the 3rd tallest structure in Shanghai as of 2017, and before 2008 it had been holding the title of the tallest structure in Shanghai for 16 years. Recent years it still attracts more tourists than other 3 tall structures near it even 2 of them have surpassed it in height. The tower is classified as a 5A scenic area by the National Tourism Administration of China while other 3 tall structures are classified as 4A.

Next, you will visit the Shanghai World Financial Center. Stepping into Shanghai World Financial Center, your journey to the sky starts from the Sky Gate. You’ll enjoy a visual feast which shows you the rapid changes of Shanghai and the history of Huangpu River through high multi-media technology displays and the world’s most realistic miniature city model.

After the tour, transfer to Shanghai train station or Shanghai airport for your next place.
