Following the Lotus Pavilion, your exploration continues to Bright Summit, one of Mount Huangshan’s most breathtaking peaks. Standing at 1,860 meters above sea level, it offers panoramic views of jagged peaks, lush valleys, and the mesmerizing seas of clouds that have captured the imagination of poets and artists for centuries. The name "Bright Summit" reflects the expansive vistas that unfold, especially at sunrise and sunset, when the landscape is bathed in a golden glow. Along the route, your guide will point out unique rock formations and ancient pine trees, offering perfect opportunities for photos. Once at the summit, you’ll be awestruck by the sweeping views that stretch far into the distance, a sight that has inspired countless works of Chinese art and literature. The peak is a place where nature’s grandeur meets human creativity, and your guide will share how it embodies the enduring spirit of Huangshan—majestic, resilient, and eternally inspiring.

The final highlight of your Huangshan adventure is the stunning Flying Over Rock, one of the mountain's most iconic landmarks. Perched precariously on a narrow base at the edge of a cliff, this massive boulder appears to defy gravity. Its striking position has made it a symbol of Huangshan’s mystique, drawing visitors and inspiring countless legends. Your guide will share fascinating local folklore, including the tale that the rock "flew" to its current spot, giving it its name. Alongside these stories, you'll learn about the geological forces that formed this natural wonder and its significance in Chinese art and culture. As you admire the surrounding peaks and ancient pines, your guide will explain how this unique rock continues to capture the imagination of all who visit.

For lunch, enjoy two of Huangshan's renowned dishes—Stewed Pigeon and Wenzheng Mountain Bamboo Shoots. Stewed Pigeon is a local specialty that’s slow-cooked to perfection with aromatic herbs, spices, and a splash of local wine. The tender meat, rich in flavor, is simmered in a savory broth, offering a comforting and nourishing meal, particularly during colder months. The dish is a true reflection of Huangshan's culinary heritage, showcasing the region's commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients. Wenzheng Mountain Bamboo Shoots, harvested from the Wenzheng Mountains, are another delicacy. Known for their delicate texture and subtle sweetness, these bamboo shoots are often stir-fried or added to soups, offering a refreshing lightness that pairs wonderfully with other dishes. The crisp, tender texture of the bamboo shoots provides a delightful contrast to the savory Stewed Pigeon, making this meal a perfect introduction to the flavors of the region.
