Before the trip, I didn’t realize how high the altitude was in Western Sichuan. Upon arriving at Tagong Grassland, I started experiencing altitude sickness, which was quite unexpected. Thankfully, our guide Alice was there to help, she stayed by my side, checked on me constantly, and made sure I was comfortable. Her care and attentiveness made a huge difference, and I truly appreciate her kindness!
Despite the altitude challenge, the breathtaking views of the snow-capped mountains, vast grasslands, and Tibetan temples made the journey unforgettable. I’m grateful for this experience and for having such a wonderful guide!

Tibet was truly an unforgettable experience! This 6-day journey allowed me to explore not only its breathtaking landscapes but also its deep spiritual and cultural heritage. Lhasa’s monasteries were incredible, filled with the scent of incense, the soft murmurs of chanting monks, and the devotion of pilgrims spinning prayer wheels. Walking through the streets of Barkhor, surrounded by the energy of Tibetan Buddhism, was a moment I’ll never forget.
Beyond the city, the vast Tibetan Plateau unfolded before me—turquoise lakes, towering glaciers, and endless mountain passes made every drive feel like stepping into a painting. Yamdrok Yumtso Lake was especially stunning, its blue waters shining under the sun, perfectly framed by snow-capped peaks.
One of the highlights was witnessing monk debates at Sera Monastery. Their passion and animated gestures brought Buddhist philosophy to life in a way I never expected. The journey through Tibet’s serene countryside, visiting traditional villages and historic monasteries, gave me a deep appreciation for this unique culture.
This wasn’t just a sightseeing trip—it was a chance to connect with Tibet’s spirit, history, and breathtaking beauty. I left with a heart full of memories and a longing to return one day.

The landscapes of Guilin were absolutely stunning—the karst mountains, winding rivers, and peaceful countryside made every moment feel like a postcard. Cruising along the Li River and exploring the serene beauty of Yangshuo and Longsheng was truly unforgettable.
Beyond the breathtaking scenery, the ethnic cultures of Southwest China were just as fascinating. Visiting traditional villages in Kaili, Rongjiang, and Zhaoxing, I was amazed by the diversity of China’s ethnic minorities. Their customs, music, and festivals brought so much vibrancy to the trip. It was a privilege to witness their unique traditions firsthand.

Northeast China is cold, really cold, but it’s also incredibly beautiful. We visited Harbin, Snow Village, Jingpo Lake, Changbai Mountain, Jilin, and Changchun, and the winter landscapes were just breathtaking. Even though it was freezing outside, once we were indoors with the cozy heating, we didn’t feel the cold at all. Jingpo Lake, with its ice after a fresh snowfall, was something straight out of a postcard.
Iris from the team was amazing, she was super helpful and really thought ahead, especially with the needs of elderly travelers. She made sure everything went smoothly, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Despite the cold, this trip was an unforgettable winter wonderland, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stunning, chilly adventure!
