The first stop for the tour is Nanluoguxiang Hutong, one must-see hutong is Nanluoguxiang in the Gulou, or Drum and Bell Tower district. The main street is filled with restaurants, cafés, snack bars, and other quaint small shops that sell unique goods. While some would consider it too touristy nowadays, one is still easily attracted to the old-style courtyards if you really want to experience the real daily life in old Beijing. You will have around 2 hours to explore this hutong area.
Lunch will be arranged at Halal restaurant, Halal food is easily available in Beijing. There are a number of halal
restaurants in Beijing that cater to the needs of the Muslims in the
city and also visitors. Some of the best halal restaurants in Beijing
include The Mughal's Beijing, 1001 Nights, Dong Lai Shun Restaurant. These
restaurants serve authentic Chinese cuisine and also various other
international cuisines. Our guide will choose a good one and help you with the food ordering.
After lunch, you will visit the Dongsi Mosque, it is regarded as one of the most celebrated and famous Moslem mosques in Beijing and even in China. Dongsi Mosque was built in 1447 in the Ming Dynasty and made entirely of wood and contained many buildings, including a Repository Hall.
The last stop for the tour is Niujie Mosque, which is the largest and oldest mosque that can be found in Beijing. The majestic mosque is also world famous that every day the mosque is attracting Muslim pilgrims to travel and visit here. Basically, Niujie is equivalent to Muslim for the local inhabitants due to the mosques and Islamic food and costums. The Mosque was first built in 996 during the Liao Dynasty when the local Muslim.
