National Library is Reopen for Public

Service arrangement
1. Opening hours: from Tuesday to Sunday, 9:00-12:00 a.m., 13:00-16:00 p.m., closed on Monday (during epidemic prevention and control).
2. Open area: South District of National Library (No.33, South Zhongguancun Street)
3. Appointment notice
Carry out appointment system. The daily limit is 1200 people (600 in the morning and 600 in the afternoon). Customers need to get the reservation QR code in advance through the "customer service" of WeChat official account "national library service number" or 010-88545426. Please come according to the appointment time. If you can't come, please cancel the appointment as soon as possible.
4. Notice
(1) Please show the appointment QR code and health code when entering the museum, and the customers who have no abnormality will enter the south area from the east gate.
(2) Please consciously accept the temperature test, and the temperature is abnormal (higher than 37.3 ?) or those with abnormal symptoms are not allowed to enter. Please wear the mask all the way. Do not gather or pile up, and keep more than 1 meter away from others.
(3) Suspend the dining service.

Borrowing instructions
1. Please enter the reading room with the customer card or valid ID card of the National Library. Please accept the inspection consciously before entering.

2. After the customer obtains the reservation code, please use the machine (opac.nl.cn) to make a book borrowing appointment, and take the book from the corresponding service point at the appointment time. Bookings before 12 o'clock of the day can be picked up at the library in the afternoon and within 2 days after that day; bookings after 12 o'clock of the day can be picked up at the library within 2 days from the next day.

3. Customers can choose self-service or manual return service. The 24-hour self-service machine is outside the east gate of the South District. No advance appointment is required. The manual service is set at the "return office" on the second floor, and it needs to be reserved in advance.

4. The overdue fees incurred from January 24, 2020 to 30 days after the full opening will be exempted. Please arrange the time reasonably to avoid the peak period.

Important Notices
1. Every day, 12:00-13:00 is the disinfection time. Please actively cooperate and leave in order.

2. Customers shall obey the management during their stay in the library, and those who do not cooperate or interfere with the epidemic prevention work will be dealt with according to laws and regulations.
