D1 Tianjin--Beijing

Pick up service is arranged at Tianjin Xingang Cruise Port. Our guide will meet you at the exit of the Custom Hall with a welcome sign "Beijing Private Tour". Drive you to Beijing city, you will enjoy the 3-hour road trip from Tianjin to Beijing.

Upon arrival, our guide will help you to check in. After a short break, you will visit the most famous site-Forbidden City, also named the Palace Museum, shares the honor of being one of five world-famous palaces with the Palace of Versailles in France, Buckingham Palace in England, the White House in the U.S. and the Kremlin in Russia. The palace occupies an area of 720,000 square meters (177.9 acres) and has approximately 8,700 rooms. A high red wall with a total length of 3,400 meters (3,718 yards) encases the palace. Our tour guide will show the around the Forbidden City and you will know lots of history & story of imperial family. You will have around 3 hours to visit the Forbidden City.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Beijing.

D2 Beijing

After breakfast, our guide will take you to visit the Temple of Heaven, The temple was constructed in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and was enlarged during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It is the grandest cult architecture complex in the world and a masterpiece of the Chinese people created in ancient times. It covers 2,700,000 square meters (667 acres). Emperors of the two dynasties used to worship the heaven and pray for rich harvests, as the feudal emperors thought they were the son of the heaven. 

Next stop for the tour is Nanluoguxiang Hutong. It's one of the best preserved historical areas in downtown Beijing, is famous for its hutong and siheyuan courtyards. Recently the popularity of Nanluoguxiang has increased noticeably with tourist numbers on the rise after 2008 Olympic Games. You will do a short walking along the authentic Beijing Hutong. A tour to visit Beijing Hutong will give you a deep impression of the local residents'live.

The last stop for the day is Summer Palace, it is a imperial garden in Beijing and one of the world heritage sites, the UNESCO declared the Summer Palace "a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value." It is a popular tourist destination but also serves as a recreational park.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Beijing.

D3 Beijing

After breakfast, you will visit the famous China Great Wall-Mutianyu Great Wall Section. It takes around 1.5 hours from Beijing downtown hotel. Mutianyu Great Wall is the most scenic part of Chinese Great Wall. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty at 1368 and stretches 5400 meters. 90% of the Mutianyu Great Wall is covered by vegetation. So in each season this part of the Great Wall will treat visitors with its unique scenery. Round ways cable car are included.

After sightseeing, head to visit the Ming Tombs. It is the imperial cemetery where the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs have been recognized as the World cultural heritage. There are 13 Ming Dynasty emperors buried there, thus it is also called The 13 Mausoleums. These tombs are the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs and have been nominated by UNESCO as world cultural heritage. When you at there, you can visit the Sacred Way, Changling Tomb, Zhaoling Tomb and Dingling Tomb.

After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Beijing.

D4 Beijing Departure
