We recently embarked on a day trip from Beijing to Xi'an to see the Terracotta Warriors Museum, and it was an experience we'll treasure forever! As a middle-aged couple traveling with my elderly parents, we had some concerns about the logistics and how they would handle the day. Luckily, our guide Bella turned out to be absolutely fantastic.

From the moment we met her, Bella made us feel comfortable and relaxed. She was incredibly attentive to my parents, ensuring they had everything they needed throughout the day. Whether it involved helping them navigate the museum or providing them with seating when they required a break, Bella truly went above and beyond to take care of them. Her expertise about the Terracotta Warriors was impressive—she shared everything in a clear and engaging way that even my parents, who usually don’t show much interest in history, found captivating.

Standing in front of the Terracotta Warriors was awe-inspiring! It felt surreal to be part of such rich history. Bella's insights into the significance of the site added an extra layer of depth to the experience. Learning about the discovery of these warriors and the purpose they served was fascinating.

After exploring the museum, we enjoyed some delicious local food in Xi'an. The flavors were incredible! From the famous dumplings to the hand-pulled noodles, every dish was mouthwatering. Bella even shared recommendations for local specialties, which made our dining experience even more delightful.

This day trip combined history and culinary delights, all thanks to Bella's thoughtful care and expertise. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we left Xi'an feeling grateful for the wonderful memories we created together. If you're considering a trip to see the Terracotta Warriors, I highly recommend it!

We just got back from an incredible five-day trip to Beijing, and we're still buzzing from all the amazing experiences! A standout moment was definitely our visit to the Great Wall, particularly the Mutianyu section. Standing there amidst such breathtaking views made us feel on top of the world. Our guide Frank was excellent, sharing captivating stories about the history of the Wall and ensuring we were comfortable during our hike. It was so easy to follow along, and we truly appreciated how attentive they were to our needs throughout the day.

Another unforgettable part of our adventure was exploring the traditional hutongs. Strolling through those narrow alleys felt like stepping back in time. The charm of the old houses and local shops was simply delightful. Our guide helped us connect with the culture, providing insights into the way of life in these historic neighborhoods. This genuine experience was something we couldn’t have had without their expertise.

The transfers throughout our trip were seamless and stress-free. We didn’t have to think about transportation at all—everything was managed by "Your Way Holiday." This allowed us to concentrate fully on enjoying our time together and making memories without any hassle.

In summary, we had a fantastic experience in Beijing. The combination of the awe-inspiring Great Wall and the intimate charm of the hutongs truly made our trip special. We can’t thank "Your Way Holiday" enough for their exceptional service and for turning this trip into a dream come true!

I just had an amazing afternoon at the Mutianyu Great Wall, and I have to share how fantastic the experience was! I reached out in the morning to inquire about the trip, and Sam got back to me right away with a professional and detailed response. I was so impressed by how quickly everything was organized; by the afternoon, I was all set and ready to go!

Once I arrived at the Great Wall, I was absolutely captivated by the views. The fresh mountain air and the sight of the ancient wall stretching over the hills were simply breathtaking. It was a bit challenging to hike some of the sections, but it felt incredibly rewarding to conquer them!

My guide, Johnny, truly made the experience special. He was not only knowledgeable but also had a great sense of humor. Johnny shared fascinating stories about the history of Mutianyu, which added depth to the adventure. I loved learning about the significance of different sections of the wall and the stories behind its construction. His passion for history really shone through, making the tour memorable.

Additionally, I appreciated the quieter atmosphere at Mutianyu, which allowed me to soak in the beauty of the surroundings without feeling rushed. I took my time exploring and even found a nice spot to relax and reflect on the stunning views.

This afternoon at the Mutianyu Great Wall will always stand out in my memory. Thanks to Sam’s prompt and professional communication, along with Johnny's engaging storytelling, I felt well-prepared and excited throughout the entire experience. We just got back from an incredible day exploring Beijing, and I have to share how amazing it was! Our adventure started at Tiananmen Square, where we were instantly struck by its vastness. Standing there, listening to our guide Frank share insights about the significant events that took place, made us feel the weight of history. His passion really brought the square to life for us.

Next, we moved on to the Forbidden City, and it was truly something special! As soon as we entered, we were in awe of the stunning architecture. Frank guided us through the courtyards and halls, telling us fascinating stories about the emperors who lived there. We couldn’t help but feel like we were part of a royal story ourselves! It was definitely the part of the day that left the deepest impression on us—so rich in culture and history.

After that, we visited the Temple of Heaven, where we strolled through the beautiful gardens. It was refreshing to see locals practicing tai chi and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Frank pointed out some interesting details about the temple’s architecture, which added to the experience.

Finally, we ended our day at the Summer Palace. The views over the lake were breathtaking, and we loved wandering the paths and taking photos. I recently took a one-day tour in Beijing with my kids, and it was nothing short of amazing! We visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace, and I can honestly say it was a day to remember.

Starting at Tiananmen Square, my kids were in awe of its sheer size and the iconic landmarks around us. They loved hearing stories about the historical significance of the place, and I could see their eyes widen as we stood in front of the giant portrait of Chairman Mao. It was a perfect introduction to China's rich history.

Next, we explored the Forbidden City, and wow, what a sight! The architecture is stunning, and the colors are so vibrant. My children were fascinated by the tales of emperors and princesses. We took tons of pictures, and our guide, Lliy, was fantastic at keeping the kids engaged with fun facts and stories. She even had them guessing what some of the buildings were used for, which really sparked their imagination.

Afterward, we visited the Temple of Heaven, and it was just breathtaking. The park surrounding it was so peaceful, and my kids enjoyed watching people practice Tai Chi. Lliy encouraged them to join in, and it turned into a memorable moment for us all. They felt like they were part of the local culture, which was so cool to see!

Finally, we made our way to the Summer Palace. The beauty of the gardens and the lake took our breath away! We took a boat ride, and my kids couldn’t stop smiling as they pointed out all the beautiful landscapes. Lliy shared some incredible stories about the emperors who once strolled through these gardens, making the whole experience even more magical.

Throughout the day, Lliy’s energy and enthusiasm made a huge difference. She was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to check in with the kids to see if they were enjoying themselves. Her ability to connect with them made the tour even more enjoyable. By the end of the day, my children were buzzing with excitement and couldn't stop talking about all the amazing things they had seen.

Overall, this one-day tour was not just educational but also incredibly fun for my family. If you’re looking to explore Beijing with kids, I highly recommend this tour—especially with Lliy as your guide! We left with our hearts full and unforgettable memories.

Our eight-day trip through Shanghai, Xi'an, and Beijing with three families was packed with unforgettable experiences. From the start, the company impressed us with how quickly they responded and how detailed the itinerary was. They really took the time to address all our questions and make sure everything was perfectly planned.

In Shanghai, our guide Jack was the perfect mix of informative and fun. He brought Yuyuan Garden to life with stories of its history, and the Old French Concession felt even more special with his insights into its unique blend of cultures. Strolling through Tianzifang’s art galleries and boutique shops was such a highlight, and Nanjing Road had this lively energy we loved. The Huangpu River Cruise was the perfect way to wrap up our Shanghai experience—the city skyline at night was just magical.

After a smooth ride on the high-speed train, we arrived in Xi’an, where Lily welcomed us with so much warmth. The Terracotta Warriors left us in awe. Seeing them up close was even more impressive than we imagined, and Lily’s deep knowledge of the site made it even more fascinating. We also explored the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and enjoyed the lively, colorful atmosphere of the Muslim Quarter, where the street food was a hit with everyone. Ending the evening at the Tang Dynasty Sleepless City was a lot of fun, with its lights and live performances making for a vibrant close to the day.

In Beijing, Mia was our guide, and she really had a knack for bringing the city's history to life. We started with a visit to a local morning market, where we got a real feel for everyday life. Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City were huge highlights, and Mia’s stories about the emperors and their lives inside the palace made everything feel so vivid. Nanluoguxiang had a more relaxed pace, with its cozy alleyways and fun little shops. It was a nice change from the grand historical sites.

The Great Wall at Badaling was an absolute standout. Standing there, looking out over the mountains, was one of those moments we’ll all remember. Visiting the Ming Tombs afterward gave us a deeper appreciation for the history of the emperors buried there.

Across all three cities, the guides—Jack, Lily, and Mia—were incredible in their own ways. They were knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and made sure everything was seamless. The drivers were also fantastic, always professional and making sure we stayed on schedule without ever feeling rushed. The entire trip ran so smoothly, and we felt so well taken care of. Exploring China with our families was an experience none of us will forget.

Our week in Shanghai and Beijing with my mom was amazing! We started in Shanghai by exploring Yuyuan Garden, which was so peaceful, and the nearby bazaar was perfect for souvenir shopping. The Old French Concession had this charming, laid-back vibe with tree-lined streets and cozy cafes. Tianzifang, with its artsy shops and delicious street food, quickly became a favorite spot. Walking down Nanjing Road and seeing The Bund at night was a stunning way to end the day, with the city skyline all lit up.

On Day 3, we visited a morning market, which felt like a truly local experience—so many fresh ingredients and snacks to try. Later, we headed to Zhujiajiao Water Town, with its picturesque canals and quaint bridges, making for a peaceful afternoon.

The high-speed train to Beijing was smooth and comfortable. In Beijing, we jumped straight into the history with Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, and the Forbidden City. The size and history of the Forbidden City were really impressive. Nanluoguxiang Hutong was another highlight, with its narrow alleys, quirky shops, and cute cafes, where we enjoyed some great local food.

Mutianyu Great Wall was definitely a standout. The views from the top were incredible, and sharing that experience with my mom made it even more special. We wrapped up the trip at the Summer Palace, enjoying the beautiful gardens and lake, which was a relaxing way to end the week.

The guides throughout the trip were excellent, providing interesting insights and stories at every site. The transfers between attractions were seamless, so we never had to worry about anything. It was the perfect blend of sightseeing, great food, and quality time with my mom—an unforgettable experience.

They shared fascinating stories about the history of the Great Wall, making it feel alive as we walked along its ancient stones.
