Upon on your arrival in Dalian, your tour guide will pick you up at the exit of Dalian train station or Dalian airport, you'll find a welcome signage "Dalian Private Tour". Your guide will take you to a local Chinese resturant to taste the authentic Dalian food.
After lunch, visit Xinghai Park. Xinghai Park is also named Xinghai Square. It was a great project built to commemorate Hong Kong's return to China in 1997 and imprints of 1000 pairs of footprints of Dalian people symbolize the enterprising spirit of local people. Here you'll see Xinghai Exhibition Center, which is the landmark of the city and there are a plenty of festivals for you to have fun in different seasons.

Your first stop is Dalian People Square. Itis regarded as the biggest and most famous square in the city. Dalian People Squareis a more dynamic place with a charming music fountain in the south than Zhongshan Square. Opposite the beautiful fountain are the city-level administrative buildings including the public security bureau, municipal court and procurator's office. The most inspiring sight of the Square is the musical fountain which displays the usual Chinese “Dancing Water”. Along with this, the daily national flag hoisting ceremony and the groups of pigeons on the ground are allure for tourists coming here.
Later, move on to Russian Style Street. Follow your tour guide, stroll along the street, it takes you back to the seven years that Dalian spent as part of the Russian Empire at the turn of the 20th century. As you stroll, admire the grand European-style buildings, including the former Russian City Hall, which spreads along an open square. In 1999, a project to renovate the buildings began, resulting in the refurbishing of eight structures from the Russian period, the construction of six new buildings in the Russian Imperial style, and new Russian-style facades for another six buildings. Keeping with the theme, the street also hosts Russian resturants, clubs, and souvenir shops. How fun it is!
Your final stop for today is Binhai Road. Binhai Road is one of the premier tourist attractions of Dalian. The uniqueness of Binhai Road lies in the fact that it boasts of the rare blend of mountain and the sea. This immensely popular tourist attraction is situated on the much renowned coastline of Dalian. Located on one side of the road are mountains featuring dense forests, whereas on the other side of the road gives way to the panoramic coastline and sea. Thus, Binhai road is a paradise for nature lovers and also becomes a must see for travelers visit Dalian.
