Pick up at your hotel between 7:00am, This tour starts from the Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial palaces group with 500 years history in the world. Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After having a short rest, we'll visit the Temple of Heaven -- the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where the ancient Emperors prayed for peace and harvest. The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
After Chinese lunch (40 minutes) in Restaurant, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market not missed. Driving (30minutes) to Summer Palace, the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden. It is regarded as a museum of gardens in China. The visit takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.
Pick up service is arranged at your hotel lobby around 7:00am-7:30am by our guide, drive to Ming Tombs (about one hour driving). The thirteen Ming Tombs are the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history. You will visit Changling, the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour.
The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45. Before having lunch (11:30 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Jade Carving Factory.
The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the
excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
Having traditional Chinese lunch at restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall.
The hike on Badaling Great Wall takes 2 hours. Badaling section is the
most famous and best-preserved wall. Its highest point at Badaling is
some 800 meters above sea level. Cable car is available and optional.
On the way to your hotels, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Tea Ceremony.
After dinner, you will have chance to catch a Peking Opera Show at Liyuan Threatre. Peking opera of China is a national treasure with a history of 200 years. In the 55th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty(1790) ,the four big Huiban opera Troupes entered the capital and combined with Kunqu opera, Yiyang opera, Hanju opera and Luantan in Beijing's thearetical circle of the time. Through a period of more than half a century of combination and integration of various kinds of opera there evolved the present Peking opera, the biggest kind of opera in China, whose richness of repertoire, great number of artists of performance and of audiences, and profound influence are incomparable in China.
The guide will help you find your seat, and the show lasts about 3.5 hours. After the show, you will be taken back to your hotel about 21:30pm.
Pick up service is arranged at your hotels within 2nd ring road of Beijing at 7:00am-7:30am. Then, drive you to visit the Biggest zoo in China: Beijing Zoo. This is perhaps the best place for children, where you will see the national treasure of China: Giant panda. It takes about 40 minutes sightseeing here.
Then, pay a visit to the Olympic Stadium (Birds Nest, Water Cube) from outside. You will have 45 minutes here. If you are interested in the interior view of the stadium, your guide will help you to buy tickets to visit the stadium.
Move on to the Lama Temple, the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Beijing. It's a mysterious Tibetan style Buddhist temple in China. It's about an hour's visit.
After Chinese lunch (40 minutes) in Restaurant, drive you to the Jingshan Park, it is a beautiful loyal garden and facing the Forbidden City. And it is the highest poit of Beijing city where you can get a full and clear view of the Forbidden City.
The last stop is Nanluoguxiang Hutong. Hutong, also known as Alleys, is called "Nong" in Shanghai and "Lane" in Chengdu. Nanluoguxiang Hutong is different from other attractions in Beijing. You can feel the habitat of life here. Shuttle in the Hutong and feel how the local people live. You can choose bike or rickshaw for sightseeing (2hrs).
After the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel.
