This was one of the best organized trips I have taken in China! I joined this tour with my sister hoping to learn and experience Beijing in a perspective of a local. I booked this tour with Beijing Private Tour two weeks ago, If you only have limited travel time in Beijing, this one day tour will be the best choice for you. During the day, we visited the most highlight attractions in Beijing city center and extended our tour to the famous Mutianyu Great Wall. My tour guide Betty was awesome! I was fetched from my hotel lobby by Shirley at 8am. She was extremely pleasant and spoke fluent English. Our first destination was Tiananmen Square. Shirley was well versed with the history of China and she kept the facts rolling. Being a South African from Durban I was not used to the negative temperatures of Beijing in December yet Shirley was very considerate. We then entered the Forbidden City. This was amazing. With plenty of photo opportunities I was drawn into a bygone era. Our personal driver then fetched us for lunch and we went to a traditional restaurant to taste various Chinese cuisine. Our next stop was the Great Wall. Taking a cable car up I was stunned by the breathtaking views. To get back down we rode a taboggan and then did some curio shopping. This was an epic tour from an extraordinary lady. Highly recommend!
We only had a limited time in Beijing so turned to Beijing private tour for a comprehensive deep dive into the Forbidden City and a trip out to the Great Wall. There were 6 of us altogether, and needed an English speaking guide in a vehicle large enough to accommodate. What we got was perfect. Our guide, Jennifer was sensitive to our needs as a group and filled with valuable insights for the places we visited. We were grateful for her professionalism and congeniality. Would definitely recommend for others visiting Beijing.
I did really enjoy this tour. The tour guide Betty was very patient, kind and knowledgeable, she explained all the places that i interested and answered all the questions. She gave me enough time to visit and take photos, never rushing me during the entire day. I had this tour on my own travel pace. The tour company arranged a confortable & clean vehicle for me, the driver was waiting for us all the time. Visiting Great Wall was the main purpsoe, the Wall is amazing. Lots of time to walk and enjoy. I choose to take cable car up & down to save my energy. Forbidden city in the Beijing city center was interesting too. Great value for price!
A thorough and interesting tour, with a guide and driver who know how to get around, inform and provide n excellent experience. If you only have one day in Beijing, this is the tour you'll want to take. My tour guide Shirley was awesome! She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I visted the famous Mutianyu great wall & Forbidden City, i had a euthentic, delicious, local food for my lunch during the tour which was really good.

My friends and I visited Mutianyu Great Wall and Summer Palace in the past few days, it was the best tour experience during my stay in Beijing. If you only have the limited time in Beijing, this is the tour you'll want to take. We had a private tour includes one tour guide & one driver for during the day, we were so lucky had Shirely as our guide for this tour, she is awesome incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We decided to visit Mutianyu section beacuse it was not crowded as Badaling. We had the carble car ride, short hiking tour,. All the things went soomthly, we didn’t have to worry about anything. She made it very easy and managed all the logistics well including tickets, travel, lunch, bathroom breaks etc. We did the great wall tour in the morning and had a leisure time to visit Summer Palace in the afternoon. The entire day was amazing!
One of my friends recommended this tour form me. She had visited China several times and always used this tour company. I contacted the tour company and booked a day tour for the highlight. My day tour with Jennifer and our driver, Mr. Lee, exceeded my expectations. I recommend this tour 100%. I was traveling alone and felt very comfortable and safe with Jennifer and Mr. Lee. It was a very cold day in Jan. and she very thoughtfully recommended that we visit the Great Wall early before it became too crowded. Jennifer was incredibly knowledgeable and informative about the Great Wall and Forbidden City and she also discussed the very interesting farm areas that were located along the drive to the Wall. She made getting through crowded areas such as the Forbidden City entrance so easy. The restaurant recommended by Jennifer was so fresh and delicious. I got some great photos too, Jennifer is really good at taking photos. Much appreciation to Mr. Lee for the air conditioned driving as well. It was really a nice day that I had during my China trip!
My trip to the Great Wall of China was a brilliant experience thanks to guide Vivian and our driver Mr. Lin. Our guide Vivian was such a lovely girl, gave us a deep impression of Beijing city, very professional. The car so clean and comfortable, no worry about the safety since we had a experienced driver. Even though it not such good weather she made sure we had the best day possible, from bargaining on our behalf for disposable rain ponchos, to organize a trip to a local village for lunch as we spent slightly less time on the wall than usual due to the weather. Highly recommended!
Fabulous Beijing great wall day tour! This was exactly what I wanted for the day in Beijing. We were so lucky had Betty as our guide. We meet each other at my hotel lobby in the morning, and drove us to Mutianyu Great Wall directly. Betty was super helpful and explained the history of the Wall and a lot about Beijing. She also patiently went through the various options to get to the top as we all wanted to do different things. Then we had a couple of hours to walk/explore on our own, and take the toboggan down, then off for lunch. We had such wonderful day with Betty. We would definitely recommend the tour and Betty as a guide!
