We had an incredible day exploring Beijing, visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall and Changling Tomb. As a couple, we were excited to see these iconic sites, especially since we had a few accessibility considerations to keep in mind.
Starting with the Mutianyu Great Wall, we were thrilled to find that it was wheelchair accessible, which made our experience so much easier. We took the cable car up, and the views from the top were absolutely breathtaking! Being on the wall itself was such a special moment for us. It’s hard to describe how it felt to stand there, surrounded by the beautiful mountains and rich history. My partner loved taking photos, and we even captured some adorable candid moments together.
Next, we headed to Changling Tomb. We were really impressed with how Zoe had tailored our itinerary to ensure accessibility. The paths were manageable, and it felt good knowing that we could explore without any worries. The tomb is fascinating, and the tranquil atmosphere made it a perfect place to stroll together.
