7 Days Jinan & Qufu and Tai'an Package Tour with Mt.Tai from Beijing

Day 1 Beijing Arrival

Upon your arrival in Beijing, our local Beijing tour guide will greet you at the exit of Beijing international airport, you will find a welcome signage "China Private Tour" and escorted you to your hotel directly, our guide will help you to check-in.

Day 2 Beijing

The first stop is Forbidden City, you will notice the dominant color in the Forbidden City is yellow, as yellow is the symbol of the royal family. Roofs are built with yellow glazed tiles; decorations in the palace are painted yellow; even the bricks on the ground are made yellow in special process. However, there is one exception. Wenyuange, the royal library, has a black roof. Because it was believed black represented water in the ancient China which could extinguish fire.

Then, you have the chance to visit the Temple of Heaven, you are recommended to visit the Three Echo Stones, which is outside of the gate of the Imperial Vault of Heaven. If you speak facing the Vault while standing on the first stone, you will hear one echo. Standing on the second and then the third stone, you will hear two and three echoes respectively. Another interesting and famous place for you to visit is called Echo Wall owning special feature. The wall encloses the Imperial Vault of Heaven and its perimeter is 193 meters long. If you and your friend stand at the east and the west roots of the wall respectively and you whisper a word, then your friend will hear clearly what you say.

The last stop for today is Summer Palace. It first built in 1750, largely destroyed in the war of 1860 and restored on its original foundations in 1886 – is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design. The natural landscape of hills and open water is combined with artificial features such as pavilions, halls, palaces, temples and bridges to form a harmonious ensemble of outstanding aesthetic value.

Day 3 Beijing

Firstly, drive you to visit the Badaling Great Wall, It lies 100 KM away at the northwest of Beijing. Badaling Great Wall is the highlight and the most excellent section of Great Walls built in Ming Dynasty. It is also the best preserved part of Great Wall, Its the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall partly because it is close to Beijing city and connected with urban area by expressway. The Great Wall was initially built in the Spring and Autumn Period; The construction, connection and restoration of the wall had never ceased in the following 2000 years.

Enjoy an authentic Beijing lunch at a lcal restaurant where the locals eat that takes you off the beaten culinary path. (Lunch is included)

After lunch, you will visit the Changling Tombs (Ming Tombs), 50 km to the north of Beijing, the tomb of the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), Zhu Di and Empress Xu. Among the 16 emperors of the Ming Dynasty, Emperor Zhu Di (1360-1424), also honored as Emperor Yongle, made the greatest contribution to the country and had the most far-reaching impact on history.

After the tour, drive you back to your hotel in Beijing.

Day 4 Beijing-Jinan

Today, you will spend your morning time to have a Hutong tours. After breakfast, drive you to the Nanluoguxiang Hutong. It is one of the ancient hutongs in Beijing that you can not miss. As the most popular Hutong in Beijing, Nanluoguxiang attracts thousands and thousands of people there every year. It is a place where you can meet interesting dingus, have a hearty feast, take a rickshaw ride, and feel the authentic culture of Beijing. 

After lunch, you will be escorted to Beijing South Railway Station to take a 2-hour high-speed train to Jinan. Upon on your arrival, our tour guide will pick you up at the exit of the railway station and escort you to your hotel directly, our tour guide will help you check in. The rest of the day is free on your own.

Day 5 Jinan-Tai'an

Today, first visit the Daming Lake. Daming Lake is one of the three historical sites in Jinan. Located in the north of the old urban area of Lixia District, Jinan City, it is formed by the confluence of many springs in Jinan. The water flows into Xiaoqing River through Luoshui river. Daming Lake has a long history with many old buildings and natural landscapes. After the Tang Dynasty, all the poets left famous poems, which is one of the must-visit spots in Jinan.

Then, head to the Baotu Spring Park. Baotu Spring is also one of the three famous scenic spots in Jinan. It is said that when Emperor Qianlong visited South, he found that the tea made from Baotu Spring water was very sweet and delicious, that Baotu Spring was named "the first spring in China". Baotu Spring, Qianfo Mountain and Daming Lake are the three famous places in Jinan. In 2013, it became a national AAAAA tourist attraction.

After lunch, drive 1 hour to Tai’an. The activity in Tai’an today is Dai Temple. Founded in the Han Dynasty, it is the place where emperors worship Mount Tai.

After the tour, transfer back to your hotel in Tai’an.

Day 6 Tai'an-Mt.Tai-Qufu

Pick up from your hotel in the early morning and drive you to visit the Mt.Tai-One of the five famous mountains in China.

Mount Tai, also known as Daishan, is located in the middle of Shandong Province, with the main peak at an altitude of 1532.7 meters. Mount Tai has been worshipped by the people and emperors since ancient times. There is a saying that "Mount Tai is peace, all the world is peace". From the first emperor of Qin Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, 13 emperors successively ascended Mount Tai in order to offer sacrifices.

Upon arrival, you will be taken to the Halfway Gate to the Heaven. You could have 1.5 hours’ hike to the top of the Mt. Taishan. On the top, visit South Heavenly Gate, Heavenly Street, Jade Emperor Peak, Inscription on the Cliff, Sun Rising Peak... 

Afterwards, take cable car and private car to get down from the mountain and transfer to Qufu. Stay overnight in Qufu.

Day 7 Qufu-Beijing

After breakfast, drive you to the Confucius Temple. It is the first temple in the world to enshrine Confucius and is estimated to date back to 478 AD. Resting upon what was Confucius's residence before, the temple spans about 50 acres, second to the Forbidden City. Confucian culture is one of the earliest Chinese traditional cultures that spread from China to the world. Now you can go to the original birthplace to feel its strong cultural heritage.

After the tour, be escorted to Qufu train station to catch a train back to Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the Beijing airport. Our service ends!
